Labor and Employment

The Firm's labor and employment practice includes the representation of both private and public sector employers in all aspects of the employer-employee relationship. The Firm's attorneys routinely advise clients on matters such as employment contracts, company handbooks, covenants not to compete, reductions in force, and employee discipline and discharge. The practice also includes all aspects of litigation in both state and federal courts, including individual and class actions brought under the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, state anti-discrimination statutes, the Texas Whistleblower Act, and other sources of common law and statutory wrongful discharge claims.
